Attendess are responsible for making their own hotel reservations. There's a large number of hotels in galway. Since Galway is a compact city, any hotel in town (F7 to G9 on the map) is within walking distance (15 to 20 minutes) to the meeting location.

IMPORTANT: DERI will move to a new building just a week before the meeting. You can find a map of the new location.
The best way is probably to fly to Galway Airport and get a taxi to town. There are connections to Galway from Dublin, London Luton, and various other destinations in Ireland and the UK with Aer Arann.
Shannon Airport is about an hour from Galway. Busses with Citylink go four times a day.
If you don't want to walk, taxis are relatively inexpensive (around 7 EUR) from town. Direct the taxi driver to the business park opposite to the Westwood Hotel to get to the meeting location. DERI will move to the new business park location a week before the meeting, so some people might tell you the way to the old location.
The meeting room on the University campus hosts about 20 people. Internet acces via WLAN and LCD projector are available.
Tea/coffee, biscuits, and mini-lunch will be provided.
